Precision CNC Machined Mounting Plates
RobotPartsCNC manufactures high-precision mounting plates, base plates, and structural interface components for industrial robots, cobots, sensors, actuators, and automated systems.
From prototype development to volume production, we control the hole patterns, mounting datums, flatness, and positional accuracy required for reliable integration.
Engineered mounting interfaces
The mounting plate is the datum for your entire assembly
In robotics, a mounting plate is more than a flat metal component. It establishes the alignment of motors, gearboxes, sensors, drive modules, and robot arms. Our CNC machining process is built around repeatable geometry and dependable assembly interfaces.
Hole arrays and locating features
CNC milling delivers accurate bolt circles, clearance holes, and dowel pin holes for repeatable robot and automation assembly.
Flatness and mounting datums
Parallel, flat surfaces help prevent mechanical stress, mounting distortion, and misalignment in robot joints and drive modules.
Threads and precision bores
We control thread quality and perpendicularity for repeated assembly, while precision bores support bearing seats and shaft alignment down to ±0.005 mm.
Large aluminum plate machining
Our facilities handle plates up to 1000 × 600 mm, from compact cobot end-effectors to large AMR chassis plates.
Material selection
Structural integrity for the application
We select plate materials according to load, stiffness, weight, corrosion exposure, and operating environment.
Aluminum
6061-T6 and 7075-T6 provide a lightweight, high-stiffness solution for robot components. Anodizing is available for improved wear resistance and corrosion protection.
Stainless steel
303, 304, and 316 are suitable for medical robotics, food-grade automation, and high-corrosion environments.
Carbon and alloy steel
1018 and 4140 are used when structural rigidity or high-impact resistance is required for base plates and heavy-duty brackets.
Quality built into the process
Inspection that protects system calibration
Mounting plate failure can create system-wide calibration issues. Every plate is inspected against the geometric and documentation requirements of your assembly.
Dimensional reporting
CMM reports are available for complex hole patterns and true position requirements.
GD&T verification
We verify flatness, perpendicularity, and parallelism so components mate correctly with existing hardware.
Full traceability
Material certificates and surface treatment reports support your quality management systems.
A manufacturing partner for robotics
From first prototype to repeatable production
RobotPartsCNC supports the complete mounting plate workflow, helping engineering teams reduce risk before production and receive finished, ready-to-assemble parts.
Prototype to production
We support single proof-of-concept parts through production runs of 1,000 units, optimizing setup and fixturing for lead time and cost.
Engineering DFM support
Our engineers review CAD models for thin walls, deep cavities, difficult radii, and other machining risks before production begins.
Integrated supply chain
In Shenzhen, we coordinate heat treatment, grinding, hard anodizing, and laser marking for a complete finished component.
